SLAM Camp: Art

We just finished the second to last week of camp, and we are still going strong with Art week. Eugenia Garcia from the Fort Bend Art Center came to teach about art and led the kids through an activity with bubble art. The kids enjoyed it so much and are excited to continue learning with Eugenia during Art club this fall. We also had a special guest, Swatson from the Sugarland Skeeters! Sallie Weir brought Watson and read his story and took pictures with everyone. It was a fun week where our kids got out of their comfort zone. Two of our students led a lesson on Origami and drawing. We are so proud of the growth and motivation we are seeing during our Summer SLAM Camp. It has been a blast!
