One of Those Moments

Some days things just line up and you know you are doing what you are supposed to be doing. Some days give you an opportunity to look around and appreciate how much the dedication of everyone involved with Fort Bend Hope comes together to make a true lighthouse for the community. Today had one of those moments for one of our adults. He mentioned how nice it was to just pause and look around the building to see kids engaged in chess and science while an adult was being helped with her citizenship application while other kids were doing their homework. It was a day that was loud, boisterous, and full of learning. It was a day that felt like family. It was a day he knew he was in the right place and making a difference.
