GED and Morning Classes

This fall marks a new beginning that we have looked forward to at Fort Bend Hope for a while. For the first time, we are offering a GED. Also, for the first time, we are having adult education in the morning. This is in addition to the adult ESL and Spanish classes we have offered previously in the evening. It is so exciting that we are getting an opportunity to walk with adults as they pursue their dreams of speaking English, becoming US citizens, or getting a GED. We know that not everyone who comes here has the same educational dreams for themselves or availability at the same time of day. That is why we have added the GED and morning classes. There has been so many people asking for these options, and we are really excited to be able to offer them now. We see it only continuing to grow from here. Like our other programming, there is no charge for these adult classes except for a yearly $30 registration fee. We want to give a special thanks to the Literacy Council of Fort Bend County as we partner with them on our adult education classes. They have provided curriculum, testing, and tutors. They have been a tremendous partner as we work to help these students reach their goals.
